John H. Reinfurt was born in 1876 in New York, USA. He married Sophia Kopf, who was born in 1884 or 1885 in Germany and came to New York around the age of 18 where she found work. She met John and was married. Sometime around 1907 their family moved to northeastern PA. John and Sophia had the following children:
