DeHAVEN

David DeHaven was born in 1812 to Isaac DeHaven (born 1780, died 1856) and Hannah Miller (born 1781, died 1859 or 1869). David's grandfather was Harmon DeHaven (a blacksmith) of Lancaster, PA. David and Harmon, his brother, were successful businessmen. (Harmon was once mayor of Allegheny). David died on April 1, 1887.

Eliza Wyke was born near Lancaster, PA. Her mother died when she was young, so she was raised by her grandmother Lightner. Her children include the following:

• Louisa, born about 1835, died in 1860s unmarried (courted Steven Foster)
• Julia Lightner DeHaven, born 1842, died 1922
• Isaac, born Easter 1846, died Easter 1898 (had two sons, Lyman and Addison)
• Hannah, born 1848, died 1913 (married Thomas Paul Bedilion, a French Pittsburgh jeweler)
